SAMPLE TEACHERS CONTRACT
ITEM DETAILS
1. Point of Hire: Nearest Airport
2. Job Title: Teacher, International School at Al Hada Hospital
3. Source of Qualification: Bs Degree & Teaching Certificate
4. Base Salary (SR/Month): 9,000 Saudi Riyals/Month/ 12 months
5. Eligibility for Overtime: NONE
6. Status: Single Status
7. Family Status: NOT ANY
8. Meals Allowance: NONE
9. Service Award: 2 weeks salary per contract year
10. Post of Assignment: International School
Al Hada Hospital, Taif
11. Leave Entitlement: The school term extends from the end of August through Mid June.
12. Work Hours Per week: Regular School Day
5 days per week. Generally 8 hrs per day.
13. Period of Contract: 12 months, renewable
Commencing on your arrival the last week of August
14. This employment contract is of necessity contingent upon completion by you and your accompanying dependents (if any) of the requirements of the PSHRC Employment Policy.
15. This employment offer and the Employment Policy, referred to herein, will constitute the full agreement between you and PSHRC and supersedes all prior verbal or written agreements, understanding or promises regarding your employment through UMG with PSHRC
16. Unless extended by mutual agreement in writing the employee and PSHRC, the employee's term of employment will terminate upon the expiration of the contract period specified in item 13 of this contract as per policy.
17. This contract is subject to the rules and regulation in force in Saudi Arabia,. In addition, the second party shall abide by all PSHRC laws, rules, policies and procedures.
18. Original of this contact will be retained by the PSHRC Personnel Department upon your arrival.
19. Should the employee alter any of the details contained in the contract, after signature, it would be considered breach of contract.
20. I acknowledge and understand 
  1. That I am on a 90 probationary period effective from the first day of work and that the Program has the right to terminate my employment contract. If I am terminated, I am not entitled to any compensation or benefits except that cost of airfare to my point of hire.
  2. Should I terminate my contract during the probationary period, I am responsible for the all costs for my return airfare.
  3. Should I terminate my contract after the 90 probationary period, I must give the Program 90 days notice and I am still responsible for the cost of airline ticket but will be eligible for prorated benefits as per approved policies and procedures.
21. Effective first day of work:  You are expected on site by the last week of August,2001

Ticketing includes one way from closest major airport to point of hire to Taif, Via Jeddah and a ticket to point of hire at the end of each contract year. Economy Class.
